ER!!

Tonight we took Clyde in for his very first emergency room visit! Yea!!

When we came home this evening, we let Clyde out of his crate and he looked like Rocky Balboa after a mix up with Dolph Ljundgren. One eye was almost swollen shut and his jowls were puffy. Poor guy, he must have discovered a bees nest this afternoon in the back yard.

We are lucky enough to have a 24 hour vet hospital just a stone throw from the house. 45 minutes, a Benadryl shot, a steroid shot, and $160 later we took him back home.

He should be fine, other than a face like a football he is acting completely normal. The swelling has already gone down noticeably. The Vet told us that the shots should make him sleepy but we haven't been so lucky....

It's Now Time!

Ahh, The greatest time of the year.

Football is back in Seattle. As of this moment, SA has just scored a TD to put the Hawks up 16 - 7 and they are playing "Sweet Home Alabama" on the PA. I hope to hear that a few times more this year. Kinda nice that the weather is more late September than late August. I was never much for a game that I sweatrd out a shirt...

All said, I really could do without the preseason. Bring on the 'for real' games already!
